Gripless

Keep your secrets, tell your lies
Nothing left but compromise

I wonder what it means to me
The familiar face of treachery

I tried to love, she tried to leave
I tried to make our emotions get weaved
To think it'd work with all our faults
To know it wouldn't yet had good thoughts

She smiled, I joked, happy were we
Instead of love it ended a sad tree
Hope is cheap but truth is pain
The hope of love was too much in rain

We walk alone in this lying world
This dying place of emotions twirled
Where faces smile and minds scheme
About the next move, always obscene

One hand I search, one smile as well
Don't leave me gripless, I'll fall to hell.
